Hi, I’m Fei.

For many years, I’ve been teaching Chinese to students from different countries, backgrounds, ages, and professions — from complete beginners learning their first words to advanced learners who want to sound more natural.

Some learn Chinese for travel. Some want to talk with Chinese-speaking family members or partners. Others need Chinese for specialized careers — including healthcare and dental professionals, legal teams, fashion creatives, designers, and cross-border businesses — or simply love the language and culture.

And I’m still teaching every day. Every lesson brings new questions and new ways to explain Chinese more clearly — so I’m still learning and growing as a teacher, and that experience continues to shape Fluent Chinese.

For years, most of my teaching stayed inside individual lessons. I created explanations, examples, exercises, and pronunciation practice for one student at a time.

But a teacher only has so many hours in a day. A clear explanation or a well-designed learning tool online can help thousands of learners.

That realization became the idea behind Fluent Chinese: turning real classroom experience into a learning platform anyone can use.

Fluent Chinese isn’t just another textbook moved onto a website. Much of it comes from questions my students ask again and again: How can I remember the tones? What’s the difference between these two words? I understand the grammar — but how do I actually use it?

My goal is to answer those questions with clear explanations, practical examples, interactive practice, and useful learning resources.

Fluent Chinese is not a finished website. I’ll keep adding pronunciation tools, grammar lessons, vocabulary practice, reading materials, and interactive exercises.

A teacher’s time is limited. But good teaching doesn’t have to be. That is why I created Fluent Chinese — and it will keep growing, one lesson at a time.
